Free Verse Farm is an herb farm and apothecary in Chelsea, Vermont. They specialize in naturally-grown herbal teas also known around the world as tisanes. The term herbal tea or tisane is used todescribe beverages made from steeping herbs, such as the leaves of peppermint or the flowers of chamomile, in water.
These herbal teas are naturally non-caffeinated and are grown in central Vermont. Vermont’s Own Products carries Arise Divine, Mint Melange, Tulsi, Heat Tea, Earl of Vermont, Rosy Cheeks, Take it Easy, Mother’s Brew and Herbal Breakfast as described below.
Arise Divine A bold, breakfast blend, infused with floral divinities. Ingredients are Darjeeling black tea (organic and fair trade), anise-hyssop, rose petals and lavender blossoms.
Mint Mélange A refreshing blend of mints that include wild mint, chocolate mint, peppermint and spearmint.
Tulsi A smooth and aromatic herb with hints of mint, basil and spices. Heat Tea This is a spicy, warming and invigorating blend. Ingredients are ginger, cinnamon, licorice, fennel, anise, fenugreek, dandelion and burdock. Earl of Vermont A complex blend with a noticeable hint of Green Mountain royalty. Ingredients are tulsi, catnip, anise-hyssop, lemon balm, mint and raspberry leaf.
Rosy Cheeks An uplifting blend with bright, floral accents of rose and citrus. Ingredients are rose petals, rosehips, rose geranium, calendula, nettle, marshmallow and lemon balm.
Take It Easy Tea This is a floral and earthy tea designed to nourish and sooth the mind and body. Ingredients are scullcap, wood betony, red clover, calendula, chamomile, catnip, milky oats, lemon balm and red raspberry leaf.
Mother's Brew This blend consists of herbs that are nutritive and excellent for mothers at all stages of life. The addition of tulsi and lavender brings a whiff of joy to this all-around healthy tea. Ingredients are raspberry leaf, nettle, oat, mint, dandelion, tulsi, lavender and lemon balm.
