Their eyes will glaze over in satiated delight
Our team often gets creative with our Vermont products and these jellies and jam are proof. Who would have thought you could take a simple strawberry preserve and make a smoking salmon glaze that tastes so divine a Michelin star chef could have made it? Well we did! And it is so easy.
You will need:
- Salmon fillets
- 1/3 cup strawberry preserves
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
Mix together soy sauce, lemon juice, and salt and pepper. Slather on salmon and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Drain and discard marinade. Place salmon in a greased pan and coat with your favorite Vermont strawberry preserves. Bake at 375° for 15-20 minutes or until salmon is cooked through. Enjoy!
