Vermont Pumpkin Chuckin’ Festival in Stowe on Sept. 25. This is the 8th annual event at Stoweflake Mountain Resort. Trebuchet contest, chili cook-off contest, and live music. Admission is $5 for ages 5 and over. Raises money for the Lamoille Family Center in Morrisville.
Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival in Tunbridge on Oct. 1 & 2. This is the 28th annual event. Marketplace, workshop, fiber arts classes, contests, animal barn, fleece show and sale, cashmere goat exhibit and floral hall.
Annual Stowe Oktoberfest in Stowe on Oct. 1 & 2. The Town of Stowe’s event field will be transformed into a Bavarian village! From Oompah bands to authentic Bavarian foods and freshly brewed Vermont beers to traditional sing-a-longs and dancing, even a silent auction.
